We move people in / out of all the major apartment blocks in and around the CBD/Inner City.

The best vehicles for these type moves are usually our small or medium size trucks.

If you require a large truck, it is vital to check access at pick up and delivery.

Very few apartment blocks have suitable access for large trucks.

This generally results in very long carries or the extra cost of a ‘ferry’ vehicle.

This can add hours onto a job.

It is important to check the height of the ‘roller door’.

Also check the ‘hours of use’ for the goods lift.

In most cases, you will need to book the lift and loading dock.

Where possible, try and secure a parking spot as close as possible to the lift and/or loading dock.

Where possible, secure a key for the goods lift so we can have exclusive use of the lift for the duration of the move.

Where possible try and avoid ‘peak’ traffic periods. It is very time consuming to keep moving the truck to allow other residents access in/out of the building/driveway.

It is also a good idea to measure large items of furniture to make sure they fit in the goods lift.
